- 4 sturdy burger buns

- 1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add sliced onions and sprinkle with salt. Cook until golden brown and caramelized (approximately 20 minutes).
- Stir in fresh thyme once onions are caramelized.
- Shape ground beef into four patties; season with salt and pepper. Cook in the same skillet over medium-high heat until browned on the outside and juicy inside (about 6 minutes per side).
