  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by rinsing under cold water and patting dry.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  3. Marinate the chicken in half the sauce for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  5. Place the marinated chicken on the baking sheet and reserve the remaining sauce.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes, basting halfway through with reserved sauce for extra glaze.
  7. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
