  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Press tofu between paper towels for 15 minutes to remove moisture. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Fry tofu cubes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix garlic, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Pour the sauce over the fried tofu and stir gently to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sticky.
  6. Serve hot with rice or steamed vegetables.
