Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 lb boneless ribeye steak
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot. Add fettuccine and cook until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season ribeye with Cajun seasoning and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned to your liking. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. Make the sauce: In another pan, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in heavy cream and cook until slightly thickened.
  4. Add cheeses: Remove sauce from heat and mix in grated Parmesan until melted. Stir in fresh mozzarella until gooey.
  5. Combine: Add drained pasta to the sauce, tossing well to coat evenly.
  6. Serve: Slice rested steak against the grain and arrange on top of pasta. Garnish with extra Parmesan if desired.
