  4. Add eggs one at a time, followed by red food coloring and vanilla extract; mix well.
  5. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined. Stir in white chocolate chips if using.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto lined baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft. Let cool before serving.
