- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large egg yolks

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into circles to fit muffin tins. Press them into the tin to form cups.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, heavy cream, sugar, and optional cinnamon stick. Stir until steaming; remove from heat after 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks and vanilla extract together. Gradually add the warm milk mixture while whisking continuously.
- Pour the custard into each pastry cup until nearly full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until tops are golden brown and puffed. Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
