Description

Monte Cristo Sliders are a delicious fusion of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for brunch or a cozy dinner. These bite-sized sandwiches feature layers of melted Swiss cheese, turkey, and ham, all nestled in soft slider buns and dusted with powdered sugar.   • 12 slider buns (brioche or Hawaiian)
  • 8 oz deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each slider bun in half horizontally. Layer turkey, ham, and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Top with the other half.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until smooth.
  4. Dip each assembled slider into the egg mixture until fully coated.
  5. Place dipped sliders on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm and serve with maple syrup for dipping.
