Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 2 cups cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp dried parsley flakes
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions to the skillet and sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- In a large bowl, combine cooked noodles, beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and parsley flakes; mix well.
- Layer half of the noodle mixture in the baking dish followed by half of the cheddar cheese; repeat with remaining mixture and cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
