- ¾ cup brown sugar

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 cups toasted coconut flakes (sweetened or unsweetened)
- 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until combined into a soft dough.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto lined baking sheets and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft. Let cool on racks.
- While cooling, toast coconut flakes in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Melt chocolate chips in intervals in the microwave and drizzle over cookies followed by caramel sauce and toasted coconut.
