  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chuck roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Transfer the seared roast to the crockpot and layer with chopped veggies. Sprinkle minced garlic on top.
  4. In a bowl, mix beef broth with Worcestershire sauce and pour over the meat and vegetables.
  5. Season generously with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
