Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese (block)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Place in the Crockpot.
  2. Pour buffalo sauce over the chicken until submerged halfway.
  3. Add cream cheese and sour cream on top of the chicken.
  4. Cook on low for about 6 hours, until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and shreds easily.
  5. Shred the chicken inside the pot using two forks and stir to combine.
  6. Top with shredded cheddar and green onions; cover for an additional 10 minutes until cheese melts.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips or veggie sticks.
