  • 4 large bell peppers (any color)
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 cup medium shrimp, chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds; rinse under cold water.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic until fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, combine sautéed mixture with crab meat, shrimp, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning; mix well.
  5. Stuff each pepper generously with the filling and place upright in a baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; remove foil after 15 minutes to brown the tops.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
