- 1 tsp espresso powder
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, oil (or melted butter), eggs, and espresso powder until well combined.
- Gradually fold in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just mixed; lumps are okay!
- Gently fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
