  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (optional for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, stirring until dissolved. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add sugar, salt, melted butter, egg, and half of the flour to the yeast mixture; stir until combined. Gradually add remaining flour until a dough forms.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm spot for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. For the filling, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until creamy.
  6. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, and sprinkle blueberries on top.
  7. Roll tightly into a log shape; slice into equal pieces.
  8. Arrange rolls in a greased baking pan; let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
