- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
- Fold in the grated zucchini until fully incorporated.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon (if using), and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid over-mixing for tender bars.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting into squares.
