- 1 lb Italian sausage (spicy or sweet)
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage until fully cooked. Stir occasionally.
- Add marinara sauce and simmer for about 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg and half of the Parmesan until smooth.

- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
