  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out your pie crust and fit it into a pie dish.
  2. Blind bake the crust by lining it with parchment paper, adding pie weights, and baking for about 15 minutes until lightly golden. Remove weights and parchment.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together whole milk, eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture into the baked pie crust and bake for 30–35 minutes until slightly jiggly in the center.
  5. Allow to cool completely before slicing.
