  • 1 cup fresh button mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (plus more for topping)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and mushrooms until soft (5-7 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onions and mushrooms, breadcrumbs, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Brush additional ketchup on top for flavor and glaze.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until juices run clear.
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
