- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips against the grain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic; marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add sesame oil and cook marinated beef until browned (4-5 minutes), then remove from the pan.
- In the same skillet, add more sesame oil and stir-fry broccoli for 3-4 minutes until bright green but still crisp.
- Return the beef to the pan with any leftover marinade. Add brown sugar and stir until everything is coated in the sauce (about 2-3 minutes).
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles and garnish with chopped green onions.
