  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or regular)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried mustard powder
  • Chopped green onions (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a baking tray with olive oil.
  2. In one bowl, whisk eggs until frothy. In another, mix crushed pretzels, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat in the pretzel mixture.
  4. Arrange coated chicken on the baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the chicken bakes, combine heavy cream, milk, grated cheddar, and mustard powder in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth.
