- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, minced onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into oval patties about one inch thick.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the patties on both sides until browned (4-5 minutes each side). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until browned (about 5 minutes). Stir in flour and gradually add beef broth.
- Return patties to the skillet, simmer gently until cooked through (about 10 minutes).
